Selection Criteria

Each case would be handled with discretion and flexibility depending on the emergency situation. The following factors would be considered:

  • Emergency situation / Reason of application
  • Seriousness of the matter
  • Family background
  • Financial need
  • Duration of support
  • Urgency

Application Procedure

The general application procedure is set out herein as reference:

  1. A written request from student/parents
  2. Confirmation/ Recommendation from school
  3. Approval in BPSF Monthly Board Meeting
  4. Endorsement from donors
  5. Formal notification to applicants

The Foundation shall issue a cheque to school and/or applicant. Depending on the situation, it shall be in one lump sum or by periodic payment. The Foundation may, in special circumstances, simplify the said procedure to cater the urgent need of students.
