Dear students,
We are delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the Rev. Bro. Paul Son Education Foundation – Ten Outstanding Students Election of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The purpose of this election is to uphold the spirit of Rev. Bro. Paul Sun (Founder of St. Joseph’s Anglo-Chinese School) and encourage the younger generation to strive for excellence in their achievements. Through this event, we aim to recognize and commend students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in academics, arts, sports, or religion, as well as praising their personal achievements and outstanding performances.
Eligibility: To participate in the election, students must meet the following criteria:
- Attending a Catholic Diocese affiliated school (primary school)
- Studying in Primary 4 to Primary 6.
- Must be present for the selection interview.
- Each school can nominate only one student.
Nomination Procedure: Nominations must be made by the respective school principal. If you have confidence in your own or another student’s outstanding accomplishments, please be nominated by your principal.
Selection Criteria: The judging committee will evaluate the participating students based on their outstanding performances, and will emphasize their character, perseverance, talents, awards or achievements, contributions, and performance during the interview.
Selection Process: Qualified applicants will go through two stages of interview selection, including the preliminary and final rounds.

Interview arrangements will be advised in separate letters.
Award Ceremony:
Date: 13 July, 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 2:00–5:00p.m.
Venue: Rev. Brother Paul Sun Memorial Hall, St. Joseph’s Anglo-Chinese School
Rewards: All students representing their schools and participating schools in the election will receive certificates. The top ten outstanding students will be awarded a trophy, a book voucher of HK$3,000, as well as a commemorative gift. Additionally, the winning students’ schools will also receive a trophy.
