IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING RECENTLY DISCOVERED FRAUDULENT WEBSITES
On behalf of the Rev. Bro. Paul Sun Education Foundation, I hereby issue this clarification statement in response to the recent discovery of fraudulent websites.
Recently, we have discovered that information and photos belonging to the Foundation have been stolen and used to create fake websites aimed at inducing the public to make donations. Such activities are purely fraudulent and are not official or authorized by the Foundation. The Foundation deeply regrets this incident and has taken necessary measures, including reporting to the relevant authorities for investigation.
To protect everyone’s interests, we urge you to note the following:
- Official Donation Channels: All donation activities of the Foundation are conducted solely through the official website (https://www.bpsf.org.hk/donation/make-donations) and recognized channels. Any requests to donate via unknown links, e-wallets, or other unofficial methods are suspicious and should not be trusted.
- Verify Information: Before making any donation, please visit the Foundation’s official website to check the latest announcements or contact us directly. We will not proactively request donations via SMS, WhatsApp, or unknown emails.
- Beware of Online Scams: Online fraud tactics are constantly evolving, so please remain vigilant. We recommend:
- Never provide any personal information, bank account details, passwords, or one-time passwords (OTP) on suspicious websites or to unknown individuals.
- Do not click on links or open attachments in messages from unknown sources (including SMS, emails, instant messaging, and social media messages).
- If you encounter suspected fraud, please report it immediately to the Hong Kong Police Force.
- Anyone who has visited related suspicious websites or provided information should immediately contact their bank or service provider for assistance.

最近，我們發現本基金會的資料及相片被盜用作設立偽冒網頁，誘導公眾捐款。此類行為純屬詐騙，並非本基金會的官方或授權活動。本基金會對此深表遺憾，並已採取必要措施，包括向有關當局舉報及調查。
為保障大家的權益，我們呼籲各位注意以下事項：
- 官方捐款渠道：本基金會的所有捐款活動僅透過官方網站(https://www.bpsf.org.hk/donation/make-donations) 及經認可的渠道進行。任何要求透過不明連結、電子錢包或其他非官方途徑捐款的訊息，均為可疑，請勿輕信。
- 驗證資訊：在進行任何捐款前，請先瀏覽本基金會官方網站確認最新公告，或直接聯絡我們。我們不會主動透過短信、WhatsApp 或不明電郵要求捐款。
- 小心網上詐騙：網上詐騙手法層出不窮，請大家提高警惕。建議：

- 任何曾瀏覽相關可疑網站或已提供資料的人士，應立即聯絡其銀行或服務供應商尋求協助。
